  3.  You lead a band of mercenaries 
  4. and adventurers, each seeking to 
  5. earn glory and gold in this hostile 
  6. world through conquest.  With only 
  7. the money you stole from an imperial 
  8. guardsman, along with your allies 
  9. Troy and the Commander, you must 
  10. choose your troops wisely in
  11. order to survive, and make a profit.

  13.   Don't forget to train your 
  14. troops once you have the money, as 
  15. sufficient skill overcomes superior 
  16. numbers. After each successful 
  17. mission, you will have the opportunity 
  18. to squander your profits.  Save often, 
  19. as you may quickly regret your choices.

  22. are your friends, but not under your
  23. pay.  You can't train them, and they
  24. may leave your team at any time.
