  10. Once installed and configured SmartSurf requires no further 
  11. action on the users behalf to automatically record all on-line 
  12. activity and provide details of charges incurred and time spent. 
  13. Just install it and forget it until you want to review charges 
  14. and times.

  16. SmartSurf has a permanent tiny display that appears and
  17. dissapears with your online services and that you can hide
  18. in the caption bar of any window to show the current time
  19. online and the costs incurred, both service provider cost 
  20. and telecommunications (phone) charges.

  22. SmartSurf understands different charging bands at different 
  23. times, and concepts such as "30 hours free per month", or 
  24. different charge bands for different times of the day or
  25. week.

  27. SmartSurf has analytical capabilities built in to determine 
  28. costs by service or by date. It produces reports or can export 
  29. data to either the clipboard or in comma separated format ready 
  30. for direct import into a spreadsheet for more sophistcated 
  31. analysis.
