  2. Information about NanoCHAT:

  4. NanoBBS Chat (NanoCHAT) is a streamlined (but in no way "light" or
  5. feature-limited) version of the TommCHAT generic multi-user
  6. teleconferencing system.  NanoCHAT is designed to emulate existing,
  7. familiar chat systems.  It uses a message-by-message interface rather
  8. than the confusing, jerky line-by-line interface included with most
  9. BBSes.  Messages are colour coded for clarity. Private messages are
  10. displayed in magenta/purple. Public messages are displayed in light
  11. cyan.  Your own typing is displayed in dark cyan. Other messages
  12. including system broadcasts and /m user messages are displayed in
  13. various colours (and may include ANSi and IBM codes and characters!).

  15. Type /? for general help.
  16. Type /a? for help with actions.
  17. Type /s to see who else is online.
  18. Type /q to exit back to the BBS.
