  9. This terminate-and-stay-resident program provides BIOS support for programs
  10. that make use of the VESA BIOS extensions.  It supports five of the defined
  11. functions (00h and 01h to return information, 02h and 03h to set and read
  12. the active mode, and 05h to select pages to be active in the memory window).

  14. On the EM series of adapters, VESA modes 0x101, 0x102 0x103, 0x104 and 0x109
  15. are supported, on the PowerView VESA modes 0x06A, 0x101, 0x102, 0x104, 0x109,
  16. 0x10A and 0x10B are supported, and on the PowerGraph VESA modes 0x06A,
  17. 0x100-0x105, 0x109, 0x10A and 0x10B are supported.

  19. The VESA BIOS extension should be loaded into memory before any other video
  20. related TSR or driver (mouse drivers, ANSI.SYS, etc.).  It must, however,
  21. be loaded after RAPIDBIO.COM or RAPIDBIO.SYS, however, should you be using
  22. one of these BIOS accellerators.
