  3. This is the read me file of pmPGP.
  4.  
  5. pmPGP is a shell for PGP. You will need an OS/2
  6. port of PGP to be able to use pmPGP.
  7.  
  8. Some features of pmPGP does only work correctly on
  9. OS/2 Warp and above.
  10.  
  11. pmPGP includes no cryptographic functionality, 
  12. it uses PGP to do the real work.
  13. PGP is the most powerful tool for secure 
  14. communication and authentication available
  15. for everybody.
  16.  
  17. As PGP is designed to be used on every operating 
  18. system, it can not support uniq features of a 
  19. particular one.
  20.  
  21. pmPGP adds support for OS/2's powerful graphical 
  22. user environment to PGP.
  23.  
  24. You must have installed an OS/2 port of PGP
  25. before you install pmPGP.
  26.  
  27. Be sure that the variable PGPPATH is set in your
  28. config.sys to point to the installation directory
  29. of PGP. The key ring files must reside there.
  30.  
  31. PGP (pgp.exe) must reside in either PGPPATH or in a 
  32. directory in your PATH.
  33.  
  34. To install pmPGP start setup.exe and install product.
  35.
