  5. WEBSTER IMAGE SOFTWARE LICENSE

  8. 1.     GRANT OF LICENSE.  Webster Image grants to you the right
  9.         to reproduce and distribute this Software 
  10.         provided that (i) the Software is not distributed 
  11.         for profit; (ii) the Software may NOT be modified; 
  12.         (iii) all copyright notices are maintained on the 
  13.         Software; and (iv) the licensee/end user agrees to be
  14.         bound by the terms of this Agreement; (v) Software
  15.         is being distributed in the original setup-ready
  16.         configuration. You may use this program free of charge
  17.     for 21 days from first installation. After that period
  18.     you must either register or stop using it.

  20. 2.    COPYRIGHT.  The Software is owned by Webster Image 
  21.         and is protected by United States copyright
  22.         laws and international treaty provisions. You may not 
  23.         remove the copyright notice from any copy of the 
  24.         Software or any copy of the written materials, if any, 
  25.         accompanying the Software.

  27. 3.    OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  This Webster Image License Agreement
  28.         is your proof of license to exercise the rights granted
  29.         herein and must be retained by you.  You may not rent
  30.         or lease the Software.  You may not reverse engineer, 
  31.         decompile or disassemble the Software.
  32.  
  33.     NO WARRANTY.  ANY USE BY YOU OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR
  34.         OWN RISK.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE ONLY WITH 
  35.         MICROSOFT(R) WINDOWS 95(R) AND RELATED SOFTWARE.  THE 
  36.         SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY 
  37.         OF ANY KIND.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 
  38.         WEBSTER IMAGE AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES 
  39.         OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, 
  40.         WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF 
  41.         MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 
  42.         WEBSTER IMAGE IS NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO 
  43.         THE SOFTWARE.
  44.  
  45.     NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  In no event 
  46.         shall Webster Image or its suppliers be liable for any 
  47.         damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, 
  48.         incidental, direct, indirect special and 
  49.         consequential damages, damages for loss of business 
  50.         profits, business interruption, loss of business 
  51.         information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out 
  52.         of the use or inability to use this Webster Image 
  53.         product, even if Webster Image has been advised of the 
  54.         possibility of such damages.  Because some states/
  55.         countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation 
  56.         of liability for consequential or incidental damages,
  57.         the above limitation may not apply to you.
  58.  
  59.     INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU.  If you distribute the 
  60.         Software in violation of this Agreement, you agree 
  61.         to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Webster Image and 
  62.         its suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits, 
  63.         including attorney's fees that arise or result from 
  64.         the use or distribution of the Software in violation 
  65.         of this Agreement.

  67. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  68.  
  69. The Software and documentation are provided with RESTRICTED 
  70. RIGHTS.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government 
  71. is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph 
  72. (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer 
  73. Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs 
  74. (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software - 
  75. Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.

  79. If you acquired this product in the United States, this 
  80. Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
