  9. Puffer is a general purpose encryption tool for Windows that protects your
  10. personal and business data as well as your e-mail correspondence.  Use
  11. Puffer to securely exchange data over insecure channels.  Puffer uses
  12. state-of-the-art encryption algorithms for maximum security.  This shareware
  13. version has been approved for export from the U.S. by the State Department
  14. through a commodity jurisdiction determination.

  27. Installation
  28. ------------
  29. Puffer is normally distributed inside a ZIP archive through online services.
  30. Unzip the distribution files into a temporary directory.  Run the SETUP.EXE
  31. program by selecting File/Run in Windows 3.1 or Start/Run in Windows 95. The
  32. setup program will prompt you for a destination directory (C:\PUFFER2 is
  33. default) and will create a Puffer 2.1 program group.  You may remove the files
  34. from the temporary directory after the installation is complete.

  39. Puffer is copyrighted software distributed as shareware, a "try before
  40. you buy" marketing concept where users are encouraged to copy and share it
  41. with friends and business associates.  You are granted a limited 30-day
  42. license to evaluate Puffer to see if it meets your needs.  When the
  43. evaluation period expires, you must purchase the registered version or
  44. delete the shareware version.  Failure to do so is a violation of the
  45. license agreement.  Single user, network server, and unlimited user site
  46. licenses are available.  Click the Register button on Puffer's main page
