  3. If you send data through the wave mapper with a mapped
  4.    format and with looping enabled, the looping is still
  5.    ignored.

  8. Versions of ATI's video accelerator prior to 2.1 do not
  9.    work well with Video for Windows version 1.1. Installing 
  10.    the accelerator software after installing Video for 
  11.    Windows can overwrite Video for Windows version 1.1 
  12.    components with components from the previous version.
  13.    Avoid installing any version of the video accelerator 
  14.    unless it is specifically noted to be compatible 
  15.    with Video for Windows version 1.1.

  17.    The vidc.rlec=ativdacc.drv entry in the [installable 
  18.    compressors] section of the SYSTEM.INI file can cause
  19.    problems when playing large RLE-compressed movies. 
  20.    Remove this entry from the SYSTEM.INI file.

  25. If you experience load segment failures of any kind after
  26.    installing Video for Windows change the following line
  27.    in your SYSTEM.INI file:

  35.    This disables the dva.386 driver and the load segment failures
  36.    should disappear.
