===========================================
FOR WINDOWS 95
(requires a sound card with MIDI)
===========================================
"The Music Box" provides computer users with the ability to improve
their listening skills without the help of another person.
Traditionally, ear training has required at least two people,
one to play the dictation and one to take the dictation
(write it down). With "The Music Box", you can practice
intervals, triads, sevenths, rhythms, scales, modes and
melodies by using the computer.
"The Music Box" allows you to configure the
dictation sequences from the easiest melody to the most
complex. Beginners or advanced music students,
children or adults will all find a setting that
is correct for them. You donÆt even need music paper, you
can take dictation by pointing and clicking on the screen
as the computer plays. If you prefer music paper, the program
will print a sheet for you. With Version 2.6, you can even
create melodies in the treble or bass clef!

relies on users to share the unregistered demonstration version
of the program. You may make copies of the unregistered version and
share it with anyone you feel may be interested in the program.
The demonstration version of the program does limit
choices for some dictation components but fully illustrates
the power of the program. After a trial period, you may purchase
the fully functional version of the program by registering
with Carner Enterprises (the registered version may NOT be
copied and distributed).
The on-line help file accompanying the unregistered version has
complete instructions on how to register directly or with a credit
card.
Thank you for your interest in The Music Box.
