  6. California Beach Girls Screen Saver
  7. ===================================

  9. California Beach Girls Screen Saver has a multitude of screen 
  10. saver programs - all full screen/full color using the California 
  11. Beach Girls image library and with 3D graphical effects.  The 
  12. programs can be set to varying speeds/effects with simple 
  13. slider controls. A detailed analog clock is also available for 
  14. all programs and can be optionally set on/off. Each image has 
  15. accompanying text - flashed up at the start of each screen 
  16. saver routine - which can be optionally set on/off.

  19. To Install

  22. If not installed already -

  24.  1. "run a:\setup.exe" if on disk or else simply "run *.exe"
  25.     if a single file (from download) 
  26.  2. ...just follow the on-line directions

  30. To Run California Beach Girls screen saver

  33. Once installed you can select the California Beach Girls screen 
  34. saver for your system. 
  35.  
  36.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  37.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  38.        Panel" and then select "Display" (double click) 
  39.        from "Control Panel" group.

  41.     2. Select "Screen Saver" page

  43.     3. Select the " California Beach Girls " screen saver 
  44.        in the listbox (left side)
  45.  
  46.     4. Click the "Settings" button to configure to your 
  47.        own taste. Please allow a small delay the first time 
  48.        the screen saver runs/tests as the screen saver needs 
  49.        to sort out the image files.

  51.         - Clock on/off (button control)
  52.         - Text on/off (button control)
  53.         - Speed of movement (slider control)
  54.         - Size (slider control)

  58.         - choose which screen saver effect you want

  61.     5. Click the "Preview" button to view the screen saver 
  62.        with your settings.

  65. The screen saver will now run after however many minutes of 
  66. keyboard/mouse inactivity have been set in the "Wait" panel 
  67. (screen saver section).

  74. software fully operational again is a simple "registration" 
  75. number to act as a key to your unique license number - no need 
  76. to download more MB of software or pay for postage/handling.

  90. The California Beach Girls Screen Saver  program allows you a 
  91. free trial period - enabling you to make a full evaluation of 
  92. the software - with the only proviso being that you can only 
  93. see 10 of the 52 images you have downloaded (the other 42 
  94. images are already there waiting for you - you just need the 
  95. "registration" number to see them). After this trial period 
  96. the screen saver will no longer run in full operation mode - 
  97. showing only one image at a time before returning to the 
  98. original screen - rather than cycling through the image 
  99. collection.

  102. What is the License Number ? (and why you need it)
  103. ==================================================

  105. Your "license" number is unique and can be easily found at 
  106. the top-left of the California Beach Girls screen saver "Settings" 
  107. box or the "Register Details" box or the "About" box  - and 
  108. starts with "L..." eg  "L***-***-***" where * is a digit from 
  109. 0..9. Your "license" number requires a similarly unique 
  110. "registration" number which will be sent to you. When you 
  111. receive the "registration" number simply press the button marked 
  112. "Register" - and follow the instructions. Once registered the 
  113. Software will run indefinitely - in full operation mode - and allow 
  114. you to see all the 52 images that you have already downloaded.

  117. How exactly to find and read the "license" number

  120. To read the "license" number:-

  122.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  123.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  124.        Panel" and then select "Display" (double click) 
  125.        from "Control Panel" group.

  127.     2. Select "Screen Saver" tab/page.

  129.     3. Select the " California Beach Girls " screen saver in 
  130.        the listbox (left side) - if  you haven't already done 
  131.        this.

  133.     4. Click the "Settings" button and read the license
  134.        at the top left of the "Settings" box

  137. How exactly to enter your "registration" number
  138. ===============================================

  140. To enter your "registration" number (received on payment) 
  141. follow the same steps 1 to 3 above and then
  142.  
  143.     4. Click the "Settings" button .
  144.     5. Click the "Register" button (How to register...)
  145.         on the left of the "Settings" box.
  146.     6. Click the "Register" button on the right of the 
  147.         "Register Details" box.
  148.     7. Enter your "registration" number, name and
  149.         company (optional).
  150.     8. Click OK

  152. Your software will then be registered and will run in full
  153. operational mode indefinitely - allowing you to see all the
  154. images.

  169. With a Windows 95 Front Shell (this includes NT4.0) use the 
  170. Add/Remove Programs facility

  172.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  173.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  174.        Panel" and then select "Add/Remove Programs" 
  175.        (double click) from "Control Panel" group.

  177.     2. On the first tab/page - "Install/Uninstall" select
  178.        " California Beach Girls " from the list and click 
  179.        the "Add/Remove" button.
