THE SPECTRUM GAMES DATABASE
THE ADVENTURES OF ST. BERNARD
PUBLISHER
Carnell
AUTHOR
YEAR
1983
DESCRIPTION
An early game with little to recommend it - poor graphics, poor
sound and a sluggish keyboard response.
CONTROLS
Z: face left
M: face right
SPACE: jump
Cursor joystick supported.
INSTRUCTIONS
Part one: scare off the wolves by turning to face them.
Part two: jump over the cracks in the ice, avoiding the
walruses.
Part three: get to the top of the screen, jumping over snowballs
and scaring away wolves.
There may be other parts, but the game is quite boring so you'll
probably give up before reaching them!

The Adventures of St. BERNARD
The Aim of the Game
Guide your intrepid St. Bernard through the perils of the icy
wastelands to rescue his Mistress from the clutches of the
abominable snowman. Avoid the packs of ferocious wolves,
mischeivous penguins and the icy watery depths. Climb boldly the
mountains of the Snowmans lair avoiding the giant snowballs only
to be troubled later by inquisitive walruses. Will it go on
forever? Is she really worth it? These and many more questions
can be answered in this multi-level, fast moving, colourful
arcade style game. Full machine code action and cartoon style
graphics.
