  18. Fly your ship to destroy the evil aliens and their mother ship.

  24. You are the only hope against the attacking Space Pheenix, and
  25. must travel to the alien mothership and destroy it to save the
  26. Earth. Before you get there, there are numerous waves of bad guys
  27. to be destroyed and an asteroid belt to be navigated through.
  28. Finally arriving at the mothership, you must blast your way
  29. through the defensive shield to kill the alien queen inside! Once
  30. done, you progress to the next, more difficult mothership.

  45. There are many snapshots of this around, but most of them are
  46. Spanish or Polish version of the game. The true English version
  47. is available (complete with MegaDodo graphic!), but is not
  48. widespread. I think I got it from the address below, but try
  49. searching for PHENIX.ZIP (i.e. not PHEENIX.ZIP).

  52. GENERAL FACTS
  53. As far as I know, this was the one and only release by MegaDodo
  54. Software, which is a shame 'cos they had a brilliant name and
  55. logo.

  57. Pheenix is really a Speccy conversion of the ancient arcade
  58. classic, Phoenix, and not a half bad one at that! It's not too
  59. hard to complete the first few times through, but try doing it
  60. once the dirt really starts to fly!

  63. Playable and fast, a pretty good arcade conversion once again.
  64. The music, however, is absolutely awful.
