Canadian Grand Prix - Montreal
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - 69 Laps
Situated on the Ile Notre Dame, Montreal witnessed one of the most
popular wins in 1995; Jean Alesi taking his maiden Grand Prix victory.
Montreal feels like a real street circuit as the barriers are close to
the track. Safety has been improved for the 1996 season with the
introduction of a new chicane on the main straight. Top speed is
still important though, with the cars reaching speeds close to
190 MPH in places.
