  1. This document contains installation instructions for Atrex 7.

  3. Installation Instructions:
  4.  
  5. To install the enclosed copy of Atrex for Windows:
  6.   1. Copy the contents of the distribution file(s) into a single
  7.      directory on your hard drive.  For this example, we will assume
  8.      that you decompressed the files into C:\TEMP.  The complete
  9.      installation package of Atrex consists of 9 files: INSTALL.EXE,
  10.      INSTALL.W02 through INSTALL.W09.
  11.   2. From the Windows Start Menu, select Run.
  12.   3. In the 'Open' field, type C:\TEMP\INSTALL and click OK.
  13.   4. Enter the information as requested to indicate where you wish
  14.      to install Atrex. For most installations, you can simply accept
  15.      the default locations.
  16.  
  17. To start Atrex, select the Atrex icon inside the Atrex group on the
  18. start menu.  The on-line manual for Atrex is a Microsoft Word document
  19. called ATREX.DOC.  This file can be viewed by most Windows word
  20. processors.  If you do not have a word processor that can read this
  21. file, one is available for download on our web site.
