  1. Welcome to the Serving the Web CD-ROM!
  2.  
  3. Many of the programs on this disk are available on the Web, but
  4. we supplied this disk to get you started with some basic tools
  5. and also supply you with some neat sounds, images, and clips to
  6. use in your own Web site!
  7.  
  8. Almost all of these programs are still under construction in some
  9. form or another, so it's always good to look for upgrades and new
  10. releases. We tried to give you a choice with some of the helper
  11. programs, so that you could try out different programs and find
  12. out for yourself, which ones work best.

  19. NetSeek        The NetSeeker installation files.

  23. Clips        Various Audio, image, animation, and video clips

  25. Connect        Software to get you connected to the Net using
  26.         major national providers. Everything you need
  27.         to get connected to the Internet in minutes!

  29. Tools        Internet software to get you up and going with
  30.         e-mail, FTP, Gopher, and Web browsing. Also
  31.         includes WinG and Win32s.
  32.  
  33. Helpers        Some great helpers to use with Web browsers, as
  34.         well as to help build your own pages.
  35.  
  36. Systems        Web server software that will let you share your
  37.         information with the world. Available for multiple
  38.         platforms, including Windows, Windows NT, Dos,
  39.         and UNIX.

  41. Docs        Documentation and information regarding the
  42.         Internet RFCs and related spcifications.
