  5. This program was written using MSVB 3 therefore the file VBRUN300.DLL must be somewhere in 
  6. your path. If you do not have this file, send a 3.5" floppy + SAE, to the address below, and mark it 
  7. "RUNTIME DISK". 
  8. Or you can FTP it from OAK.OAKLAND.EDU. Login as anonymous, use your email address as a 
  9. password. Change to the PUB/MSDOS/WINDOWS3 directory, and get the file VBRUN300.ZIP.

  11. Blanker is a Windows 3.1 Screen saver. To set it up, simply copy the file "BLANKER.SCR" into your 
  12. Windows directory, and set it up using control panel in the usual way. 
  13. When the screen saver kicks in your screen is just faded to black. "So What?" I hear you cry, 
  14. "Windows comes with one of those, and that's free". "Aha" I reply, "but this one has password options 
  15. ( something Micrsoft left out)". 
  16. The Password options in the setup form work in the same way as the usual windows SCRs, exept that 
  17. there is an option call "track password attempts". with this box checked, the program keeps a count of 
  18. how many unsucesful attempts have been made to enter you password, and then tells you when you 
  19. enter the correct password.

  23.     That is just about all I have to say at the moment except to tell you about registration.  
  24. This program is distributed as Shareware. That means you can copy this program around as much as 
  25. you like. However, if you use this program then please send 3.50 pounds to me at the address below.  
  26. If you do this, and you send a 3.5" disk and an SAE as well, then I will send you back a registered 
  27. copy of the latest version of this program plus some others I have written. If you don't have a spare 
  28. disk, then for 5.00 pounds I will send you a disk with program on it etc. 
  29. If registering from outside the UK then please contact me. 
  30. For 2.50 UK pounds (5 US dollars) , just send the cash and I will email you a copy.

  32. Sys-Ops and shareware distributers are welcome to put this program on their lists. It might be a good 
  33. idea to contact me first so that you can be sure of having the latest version.

  36. writing, please tell me what version of Windows you run and what, if any, version of MS VB you 
  37. have. Other system information would help me to check any problems.
