Well, I'm not sure I can help you. BUT, to let you know that it's
probably not doom, I wanted to reply. I have the same setup, except I have
16 Meg of RAM. Perhaps you have something else in memory or perhaps
you have some odd config.sys and autoexec.bat? Or maybe your hercules
mono card isnt up to speed ... :). Anyway, DOOM runs slick on my box.
