Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th Edition, defines arrogance as:
a feeling or impression of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or
presumptuous claims.
Says nothing about whether or not you truly are superior, but are overbearing
and generally obnoxious either way...:P
