  1. The Zipped programs on this CD-ROM are shareware and must be registered
  2. if you use them for more than a tryout period.
  3. So pay for the programs that you use. Otherwise the authors may stop
  4. writing them and that would make the world a more boring place to live.

  6. The descriptions of the files are contained in the \ZIPPED directory in the
  7. FILES.BBS.
  8. We have supplied a menu program to make it easier for you to play DOOM.
  9. Type GO from the root directory to start the menus.
  10. Note however that there are a lot of tools & other software which is not
  11. accessible from the menu (mainly due to the fact that they attempt to write
  12. to the CD-ROM).
  13. We have also supplied some .VOC .WAV & .SND files for use with DMAUD, they are
  14. in the \SOUNDS\SOUNDS\[VOC/WAV/SND] directory.

  16. To uncompress the programs on this CD-ROM, I suggest you use SHEZ, which
  17. is a very easy to use program.

  19. PKUNZIP 2.04g is in the \INSTALL\PKZIP204 directory.
  20. ARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241 directory
  21. UNARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241\UNARJ directory
  22. SCAN 112 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\SCAN111 directory
  23. CLEAN 112 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\CLEAN111 dirctory
  24. SHEZ 9.7 is in the \INSTALL\SHEZ directory
  25. VPIC 6.0c is in the \INSTALL\VPIC60C directory
  26.  
  27. What you should do is to execute UNWARP.BAT with the letter of the drive 
  28. you want to have the CD-ROM essentials copied to (UNWARP C:).

  30. We have also added a few bonus programs to this CD-ROM, however they are not
  31. automatically installed together with the above products. Look in the \INSTALL
  32. directory to see what's there.
