  1.                           Overscan on the Falcon 030

  5.   This program lets you put your Falcon into overscan mode. It is particularly 
  6.   useful  for  window  based word processing  programmings  where  you  cannot 
  7.   normally  use  the full screen width.  This program increases  your  current 
  8.   screen resolution by 20%.  It will have no effect, or at least no desireable 
  9.   effect,  on  ST compatibility modes.  To use OVERSCAN.PRG properly you  must 
  10.   follow a few simple instructions.

  12.   1) OVERSCAN.PRG must be double-clicked from the Desktop in a Falcon specific 
  13.   resolution. Your Desktop will appear to be offset after running the program.

  15.   2) Now go to the Options Menu and change resolution (video mode).  You  will 
  16.   now be in overscan mode. Change resolution as often as you like and overscan 
  17.   will be effective in all non ST modes.

  19.   3)  If you want overscan to be permanently on,  just go to the Options  Menu 
  20.   and  select  Save  Desktop.  The  overscan setting will  be  saved  in  your 
  21.   NEWDESK.INF file and will be installed every time you boot up your  computer 
  22.   with  that disk in the drive (or permanently if you have a hard  drive).  To 
  23.   remove overscan, simply rename your NEWDESK.INF file and reboot your Falcon.
