  5. This game requires at least 1Mb of RAM.
  6.  
  7. You should make working copies of the
  8. (double sided) master disks by
  9. following the 'Copying a Floppy Disk'
  10. instructions in the ST manual. Play the
  11. game using the copy disks, and ensure
  12. that disk 2 is not write-protected, so
  13. that game states can be saved.
  14.  
  15. To start the game, put disk 1 in the
  16. drive and reset the machine. Insert
  17. disk 2 when instructed during the
  18. start-up sequence.

  20. TT and ST/STE Machines with more than
  21. 1Mb of RAM can be run from the hard
  22. disk. Create a folder 'AV8B' and copy
  23. the following files and folders to it:
  24.        HARRIER.TOS from disk 1
  25.        DG directory from disk 1
  26.        All folders from disk 2.
  27. Select low resolution, and double
  28. click on HARRIER.TOS to start the game.

  30. ST machines with just 1Mb and a hard
  31. disk are not guaranteed to work from
  32. the hard drive, as the hard disk
  33. drivers may steal too much RAM. Try it
  34. and see. If it doesn't work then you
  35. must run from floppy.

  37. Tip for TT owners: Turn off the screen
  38. saver before playing the game.

  40. Note that the zoom function (Page up/
  41. page down on the PC) has been mapped
  42. to open and close brackets on the
  43. keypad.
