Hallo User/Tester, i have a question...
Should Easy_PGP be able to generate Mails or something like that directly
after Encryption (only if Ascii armor is used).
For german users this means;
setzen!
For the english People;
When Easy_PGP should generate encrypted files directly in your internet-
frontend (or something like this) you must give me all Informations
i need to do this. Contact me if you mean i talk to YOU...
Ok, and now the version-history...
V0.92 19.11.95
- Little Redrawerror in User-Selector fixed. Again. Hope it runs now
correctly.
- The converters PUB_CONV and DAT_SORT can now be called by Easy_PGP
directly.
- Bugfix in new Userbaseformat. One Character are lost after saving
the database.
V0.91 10.11.95
- new checkbutton in "Extract". 'Extended output'. When set the output of
extract contains a list of what is in the PGP-Block and the KEY-Block
itself. Test it!! It's great :-)
- On some Dialogs there are now TWO Editable Objects to edit a key-id or
select one from the Userselector (using F10 or double click).
Why? Normally Easy_PGP's Userselector only give ONE returnstring. The
netname OR the Key-ID... Now it returns both. One would be inserted in the
first editobject, the other one in the second editobject :-))
Do you need a second editobject in View a key or Encrypt?
- When pressing a Shift-key (Left, Right, both) while selecting an User in
the Userselector (Click on "OK" or double click on user) the return string
would be changed. When you have set NETNAME (in More Options) the return
changes to Key-ID. Otherwise to the netname. ONLY ONCE!
V0.91 22.10.95
- History from HYPertext removed. Now an external file (HISTORY.TXT).
- The Checkbuttons which you can set in "the Keyselectors Editor" are
now used. Go to "Encrypt" and call the Selector...
- Now you can define an EDITOR which can be called in ENCRYPT-Dialog. :-))
The actual selected entry from the "File to Encrypt" Popup would be
given to the Editor when selecting. If you have selected "Fileselector"
in the popup an Fileselector would be shown before calling the editor.
- You can remove your MSG-File (sys\easy_pgp.msg). All Infos from it are
moved to the RSC-File.
V0.91 15.10.95
- Little bugfix at Check Keyring.
- Easy_PGP can now run without TOS2GEM but NO LOG-Files are possible!
Remove all Revoked keys is not possible too!
- Now Easy_PGP doesn't support directly reading from PUBRING.
Content-Files (*.CNT) are "passe" too. Easy_PGP now uses an
Adressdatabase witch can be used every time. SO you can hold only that
adresses in the database which you want to have in it. The Adressfile
would be written automatically when it is changed while an Easy_PGP-run...
- The "Autolocator" is gone too. It was an Bad hack i i have removed
them. When i have much time i will write an new. But now you must
live without it for a while, sorry.
- Sorting the Userlist is gone too cause i now use an new Databaseformat.
- LOAD, CLR and SAVE are now removed from Userlistselector.
- Little Redrawerror in User-Selector fixed.
- Userselector now have an HELP-Button. NOT ACTIVE YET!!
- PGP_CONV and DAT_SORT written... See README!!.!!!
- A few other little changes...
V0.90 04.10.95
- Easy_PGP is now fully translated to english. Many thanx to Peter
West for translating the dokumentaion!!
- Lock/Unlock a key now possible.
- New checkbox in 'Decrypt'. 'Output to viewer'
- New checkbox in 'More options'. 'Append LOG'
- Now an english version of TOS2GEM is included in the package. This
was translated by Peter West too. Many thanx again for this!!
V0.31 20.07.95
- PGP can now also be started in 'VERBOSE=2' mode. This is
quite useful for debugging. One can do this by pressing
a <Shift> key when calling PGP. So: Instead of selecting
the 'OK' button with <Return>, one uses <Shift>+<Return>
and holds down the <Shift> key. If an alert appears after
'OK' then one has to press the <Shift> key after quitting
the alert.
- The format of the INF-file has now changed (!B)fundamentally(!b).
Any old INF-file present has to be deleted, and Easy_PGP
reconfigured anew. The INF-file now has a rigid format
(fixed sequence and no variables any more). Thanks to
this the reading of the INF-file (and hence the program
initialisation) has become much faster.
- It is now possible to check a public keyring for errors.
- 'View Trust-parameter' and 'Check keyring' can now also
be used from the command line: For this
-view_trustparameter
or
-check_keyring
must be passed as the command line to Easy_PGP. Shorter
forms will be possible at a later stage. I am only just
starting to implement some things via the command line.
