  1. Goldrush, USA V3.2 Release Notes

  4. Goldrush is a textually moderated treasure collection / adventure
  5. game for Windows.
  6.  
  7. All of the files included with this game are to be placed in the
  8. same directory; whatever directory you decide.
  9.  
  10. To Install from disk:
  11.  
  12. 1.) Start Microsoft Windows
  13. 2.) Insert the Mush Disk #1 in drive A (or B)
  14. 3.) From within the File Manager, copy the files from the floppy
  15.     drive (A: or B:) to the directory of your choice on your harddrive.
  16. 4.) Create a Program Icon in a (games?) Program Manager Group if desired.

  18. To Run:

  20. 1.) Create a Program Icon, and double-click on the Icon, or
  21. 2.) Double-click on the file from within File Manager
  22.

  34. There is no unisntall program for Mush.  All of Goldrush's files reside in the same 
  35. directory, and thus may be deleted as a set at any time.  DOS provides the 
  36. convention that a file is searched for (when needed) in the current directory first, 
  37. and then via the path environment variable ordering.  Thus you can be sure that Mush 
  38. only requires the files within the directory you place them in.
