  102. installed Exile II into (probably c:\exile2). From the Program
  103. Manager, delete the entire Exile II folder. All traces of Exile II
  104. will now be removed from your system.

  215. 1. Run INSTALL.EXE and answer any questions it asks you.

  219. Troubleshooting:

  221. Exile is a large, elaborate game, and Windows can occasionally
  222. be a delicate operating system. If you're having troubles with
  223. Exile crashing, take the following steps.
  224. 1. Select Preferences from the Options menu. Select Fewer Sounds. If the
  225. game crashes while targeting missiles or combat spells, also select No
  226. Targeting Line.
  227. 2. Turn the sound off altogether.
  228. 3. Don't change the volume on your sound card while playing
  229.    Exile.
  230. 4. If using Windows 95, turn off the disk compression,
  231.    checking, and maintenance utilities while playing Exile.
  232.  
  233. Exile II will change the colors in the other Windows while it
  234. runs - this is an unfortunate side effect of using 256 colors.
  235.  
  236. Exile II has proven to be a very stable and reliable game, in general.
