  10. to include a clear, high-contrast photo (4x6 is a good size) if you 
  11. want the scan.

  18. To Install:
  19.         From the Windows PROGRAM MANAGER, click FILE then RUN.   
  20.         Type    A:\SETUP    and press enter.   
  21.                 (change the A: to your floppy drive, if different)
  22.  
  23. TECHNICAL INFO:
  24.        The only real important thing to remember is to set your Windows 
  25. video display driver to a resolution of 640 x 480 (pixel width by height).   
  26. If your video card supports 16.7 m colors - then use it!  If you set the 
  27. colors at 256 or less you will probably see "dithering" since photographs 
  28. require 256 colors or more.   Your video driver software may have in-
  29. stalled it's own special program to change those settings.  If so, use it.  
  30. If not, you can use Windows Control Panel to make the changes.
  31.  
  32.       Sometimes a "General Protection Fault" will occur during installation.  
  33. This is usually fixed by changing the video display driver before installing.   
  34. Let me know if you find any other glitches.

  36. TECHIES:  The setup routine uses version-checking.  No old DLL's will be
  37.           copied over newer versions already on your hard disk.
