  1. Configuring End of Time

  3.     When the Configure button is clicked in the End of Time Options dialog box, End of Time is closed and the Configuration program is run.  It will open with 6 buttons:

  5.         Location - Place End of Time where you want it.
  6.  
  7.         Colors - Change the colors of End of Time.
  8.  
  9.         Display - Choose what is displayed by End of Time.
  10.  
  11.         Exit Options - Choose which exit options will be displayed.
  12.  
  13.         DONE - Restart End of Time with new Configuration.
  14.  
  15.         CANCEL - Close the Configuration program.
  16.                          End of Time will NOT restart.

  18. *****LOCATION*****

  20.     While not as simple as just dragging the display bar to where you want it, I chose a method of moving the bar which is not difficult and also helps to avoid constantly(or accidentally) moving it.  When the Location button is clicked, two windows appear.  One is a dialog box containing instructions and a DONE button.  The other is a "Locator" bar.  You can drag this bar to any location you desire, then click the DONE button in the dialog box.  That's it.  The "Locator" bar will be the length that End of Time will be, according to the choices made in the Display options (see Display below).

  24.     Any color possible on your system can be chosen in the Colors section.  The dialog box contains three scroll bars, Red, Green and Blue.  The best advice I can give for choosing a color is : Play with it.  You can change both the background and foreground (text) colors, separately.  A sample box below the scroll bars shows what End of Time should look like.  When done, click on DONE.

  26. *****DISPLAY*****

  28.     You get to choose exactly what End of Time displays on its display bar.  The time can be shown in 12-hour or 24-hour (military) time, or even turned off.  The date can be displayed in any of four formats or turned off.  You can choose whether or not to also display the day of the week.  Two checkboxes on the left allow you to see (or not) the amount of memory and/or free resources that are available.  One last checkbox allows you to keep End of Time "on top" of all other windows.  Again, click on DONE when finished.

  32.     Three checkboxes allow you to change what appears in the End of Time Options dialog box.  If you'd rather not be able to reboot your computer, restart Windows, or even exit Windows, you can turn each one off (or back on).  Once more, DONE takes you back to the opening screen.

  36.     Clicking on DONE will close the Configuration program and restart End of Time with all the new choices in place.

  40.     CANCEL will not restart End of Time, but it will close the Configuration program and write all the changes you just made to the EndTime.Ini file located in your Windows directory.
