  31. NOTICE TO CURRENT REGISTERED ZIP TOOLS FOR WINDOWS AND ZIP/ZIPX USERS

  34. All registered users of FlashPoint's Zip Tools for Windows and ZIP/ZIPX 
  35. packages, who have registered before June 1, 1994, will be upgraded, at
  36. no additional charge, to the new FlashPoint Windows ZIP NAVIGATOR
  37. (ZipNAV) package.

  39. They will receive new codes, and upgrade disks by mail.  As always, we
  40. wish to thank our users for their continued support.

  44. SPECIAL LIMITED TIME DISCOUNTS ON ZIP NAVIGATOR (ZipNAV) REGISTRATION
  45. AND LICENSE FEES (EXPIRES ON OR BEFORE December 31, 1994)

  48. You are granted a limited thirty (30) day, evaluation license for the
  49. purpose of trying out this shareware product.
  50.  
  51. FlashPoint Windows Zip Navigator (ZipNAV) is distributed through shareware
  52. channels for the ultimate purpose of sale.  Therefore, you must register 
  53. and license the suite of applications, if you intend to use them beyond
  54. the thirty (30) day evaluation period.

  56. SPECIAL "EARLY" REGISTRATION DISCOUNT

  59. To encourage registration of this, the first release of FlashPoint Windows
  60. Zip Navigator (ZipNAV), purchasers of the the first ten-thousand (10,000)  
  61. copies of the product, who registers or purchases a licensed version before 
  62. December 31, 1994, will be given a twenty percent (20%) discount off the
  63. total license fees.

  65. This twenty percent (20%) applies only to the "license fees" and not any 
  66. additional charges, such as media costs or sales taxes.  Furthermore, it 
  67. applies only to direct orders from FlashPoint Development, and not to any
  68. orders placed through third-parties, e.g., CompuServe Online Registration
  69. Service.

  71. The discount amount is calculated, for both Individual Use (Per Copy) and
  72. Multiple Use (Site) licenses, by multiplying the percentage discount times
  73. the applicable license fee (after allowing for any applicable quantity 
  74. discounts), and placing same in the appropriate blocks of the official 
  75. FlashPoint order forms.  The "Less Discount" blank on the order form must
  76. be completed by inserting the word "EARLY" and the twenty percent (20%) 
  77. discount and amount in the blank spaces provided.

  79. No discounts will be allowed if the official order form is not fully 
  80. completed and returned to FlashPoint.

  82. This discount applies only to orders physically "received" by December 31,
  83. 1994, and prior to sale of the first ten-thousand (10,000) copies (which
  84. shall include each individual or multiple use copy licensed).  You will
  85. be notified by return mail if your order was not timely received.

  88. found in the Shareware/Evaluation Users' Guide (FPZIP.WRI), which is 
  89. formatted for viewing and printing with Windows Write, and in the online
  90. help file (FPZIP.HLP), which provides a printer icon for printing a
  91. formatted order form directly from within the help file.  Just fill in
  92. the discount line as instructed above, if you register before the deadline.

  94. SPECIAL "COMPETITIVE" UPGRADE DISCOUNT

  97. To encourage users to make the switch from competitive products, whether
  98. DOS or Windows versions, purchasers who indicate that they are upgrading
  99. from a competitive product and the name of that product, in response to
  100. the question appearing on the FlashPoint order form, will be given an
  101. additional ten percent (10%) discount off the total license fees.

  103. This ten percent (10%) applies only to the "license fees" and not any 
  104. additional charges, such as media costs or sales taxes.  Furthermore, it 
  105. applies only to direct orders from FlashPoint Development, and not to any

  142. The aggregate total of all "special" discounts may not exceed thirty percent
  143. (30%) of the total license fees due.  Therefore, you are permitted to take
  144. both the "EARLY" (20%) and "COMPETITIVE" (10%) discounts, but you may not 
  145. take any additional "special" discounts, which may be from time to time 
  146. offered by FlashPoint.

  148. "Special" discounts do not include the "Quantity" discounts provided for in
  149. the documentation and online help file.
