This 10/23/97 date code Award BIOS is for the P5F72 Eagle Motherboard.
The following list includes all fixes and changes made in all BIOS files
up to and including the 10/23/97 date code BIOS.
Fixes applied in 08/21/97 version
1) The Cyrix 6x86MX 166 CPU is detected as a 150MHz.
Fixes and changes applied to 01/23/97 version
1) Aha2940 running QA475 disk test will cause hang.
2) P55C CPU sometime can't bootup
3) Faster DRAM timing 60ns
Changes applied to 03/07/97 version
1) This bios will enable the use of the OR technologies LS 120 A: drive.
This bios will not enable the OR LS 120 to be used as a boot drive.
Fixes and changes applied to 05/08/97 version
1) Solve problem on 03/07/97 BIOS of ECP/EPP function.
2) Support LS-120 Boot-up function.
3) Support Int13 extension, allow Win95 OSR2 install on large DISK in one partion.
4) Add "IR Duplex Support" option in the BIOS integrate Peripherial screen.
Fixes applied to 06/24/97 version
1) The Intel Pentium 133MHz CPU when this CPU was used with 2 8meg
doublesided SIMM modules there were problems booting up the system.
Fixes applied to 08/11/97 version
1) The BIOS inability to correctly identify the Fujitsu M1624TAU depending
on when the drive was formatted which BIOS was used to format it.
2) Compatibility with the Diamond Stealth 2500 video card and any other
video card that uses the Alliance chipset.
Fixes applied to 10/23/97 version
1) Using the Intel Pentium 150MHz CPU and FP mode DRAM, when trying to warm boot
using the reset button or Ctrl-Alt-Del keys or when turning on the system from a shutdown,
the system may hang.
