  9.          (3) SiS IDE Windows 95 driver added.
  10.          (4) SiS IDE Windows NT driver modified.

  13. 5513IDE PROBLEM LOG:

  15. 1.      SiS IDE Install Utility fixed the bug of showing disk informations.
  16.  
  17. 2.      One IDE Mode 4 Hard Disk (Segate ST-5850AT) with
  18.         SCSI Card (AHA 2940) mounted with any SCSI Hard Disk.
  19.         System will hang at accessing SCSI H.D when SiS IDE driver active.
  20. Sol:    Fixed by unmasking 8259 IMR.

  40. 1.      Novell Netware Server will hang when client is trying to loggin.
  41. Ans:    Please remember to use Un-Install function to remove SiS IDE DOS Driver
  42.         after SiS IDE Netware Driver installed.

  44. 2       How to use 32-bit file access for Hard Disk and CD-ROM working at the
  45.         same channel in WFW 3.11 environment ?
  46. Ans:    It is a limitation of the system. You should either put the devices in
  47.         different channel or turn the 32-bit file access off.

  49. 3.      DOS Driver adjusts HD speed by parameter :
  50. E.g:    You can write the following line in config.sys
  51.                 device=c:\siside\sisdr.sys /Rxxxx /Axxxx
  52.         Where x could be 0 .. 9, A .. F for speed .

  54.                 A : Active time    ( ref. data sheet for 551X )

  56. 4.      After SiS IDE DOS driver installed. Some mode 4 hard disk will cause
  57.         system hang at the IDE driver loading procedure when we reboot the
  58.         system.

  62. Ans:    Windows NT and SiS IDE Drivers can't both be active under NT system.
