  1.                SiS IDE Driver Installation For Windows NT

  4. 01) From the Options menu in "^Windows NT setup", choose
  5.     "^Add/Remove SCSI Adapters".
  6.  
  7. 02) In the SCSI Adapter Setup dialog box, choose the "^Add" button
  8.  
  9. 03) In the "^Adapter:" list dialog box, choose
  10.     "^Other (Requires a disk from a hardware manufacturer)"
  11.  
  12. 04) Next, you will see the "^Insert Diskette" dialog box,
  13.     insert the SiS driver diskette into floppy A or CD-ROM drive,
  14.     and change path to "NT35"(floppy A) or "D:\IDE\NT35"(CD-ROM Drive)
  15.     in dialog box. *** (assume D drive is the CD-ROM drive) ***

  17. 05) Next, In "Select OEM Option" dialog box, choose
  18.     "^SiS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport Driver" and click "OK".

  20. 06) In the "^Select SCSI Adapter Option" dialog box, click on the
  21.     "^Install" button in the dialog box.
  22.  
  23. 07) When the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box reappear,
  24.     check whether "^IDE CD-ROM [ATAPI 1.2] / Dual_channel PCI IDE" is listed.
  25.     If yes, select it with mouse and click "^Remove" button.

  27. 08) Installation is successful if the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box
  28.     reappear, and "^SiS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport Driver" will be
  29.     listed as an installed driver.

  31. 09) Reboot your system.
