NOTES:
1. This is an AMI BIOS release.
2. This BIOS solves the following problems of the previous version:
- In Windows 95, if the SUSPEND button is pressed twice, system will hang.
- In Windows 95, even if Power Management is enabled, the SUSPEND button will not appear.
- In Windowsョ 95, 3COMョ 3C509B ISA PnP Network Card will have a warning (!) message, and will not function properly.
- When booting with 3COM 3C590 PCI Network Card boot ROM, the message "Press H to boot from hard disk" will not appear.
- Intel P54C-200 MHz CPU will sometimes be detected as 210 MHz during boot-up.
- With on-board 256K cache, adding a 256K cache module will cause the system to hang during boot-up.
- After performing FDISK in Windows 95, DOS FDISK will recognize the primary partition as non-DOS and the partition size will be 2MB lesser.
- These problems have been fixed in AI78.
3. New Functions:
- The AMD PR166 and 200 CPU is now supported.
- The AMD K6-166 and 200 CPU is now supported.
- The Intel P55C-MMX 233 CPU is now supported.
- "Boot from CD-ROM" and "Windows NT 4.0 Auto Installation" functions are now supported.
