  53.         This file contains new information which may not be printed in
  54.         the manual. If any information is contrary to the manual, the
  55.         contents of this file is to be applied.

  57.         NOTE: not all utilities described in the following are supported
  58.               by all ELSA graphics adapters!

  64.         Almost all files are compressed, their names are slightly
  65.         changed. Please note that the files can NOT just be copied
  66.         from this disk.

  70. 3.      Installation
  71.  
  72. 3.1     Automatically installation
  73.  
  74.         To install the "ELSA WINman Suite" under Windows 95, you have to
  75.         run the CDSETUP.EXE from ELSA Winnerware CD. In the dialog
  76.         comming up now, the hardware and the operating system is
  77.         identified, and the available tools are displayed. To install
  78.         the "ELSA WINman Suite" choose this item in the window "Instal-
  79.         lation of:" and click the "Install" button. Now the files will
  80.         be copied.

  82. 3.2     Manual installation
  83.  
  84.         It is no problem to install the "ELSA WINman Suite" for Windows 95
  85.         manually. For that purpose change to the directory of the tool
  86.         you want to install (e.g. WINNER\2000OFC\WIN95\DRVTOOLS\WINMSUIT)
  87.         and click with the right mouse button on the file with the extension
  88.         *.INF (e.g.WINMSUIT.INF). Select in the context menu the item
  89.         "Install". The utility files will be installed.

  93. 4.      Description of the WINMAN Suite

  95.         ELSA Settings          Tool to define new resolutions, change
  96.                                the screen position and adjust monitor
  97.                                timings
  98.         ELSA Info              Shows information about the installed
  99.                                ELSA graphics board
  100.         ELSA WINman Suite      Central control program for using the
  101.                                programs mentioned above
  102.         DirectX Settings       Allows to control filtering and settings
  103.                                for Direct3D

  105. 4.1     ELSA Settings
  106.  
  107.         ELSA Settings allows you to define new resolutions, set monitor
  108.         refresh rates, change the screen position and adjust monitor
  109.         timings. It is possible to set any individual timing your
  110.         hardware supports.

  112. 4.2     ELSA Info
  113.  
  114.         The ELSA Info page shows a range of information about your Windows
  115.         system and the ELSA graphics board installed. Not just important
  116.         hardware information like detailed designation of the ELSA
  117.         graphics board, memory expansion and BIOS version is displayed, but
  118.         also the version of the graphics driver and the Windows version.

  120. 4.3     ELSA WINman Suite
  121.  
  122.         The WINman Suite is the central control program to reach straight
  123.         to the ELSA Settings, DirectX Settings, ELSA Info and, if installed
  124.         Video I/O properties.

  126. 4.4     DirectX Settings
  127.  
  128.         The "DirectX Settings" is a page in the "Properties for Display"
  129.         under Windows 95 to allow setting several filters and Direct3D
  130.         options to succeed optimal performance of your ELSA graphics board.

  132.         In the system menu you can change the language (German/English).
