  49.         This disk contains all components of the driver POWERdraft
  50.         for AutoCAD R13 and AutoCAD LT for Windows 95.
  51.  
  52.         Supported platforms are Windows 95, Windows NT and
  53.         Windows 3.1x with WIN32S.

  55.         Complete documentation can be found in the file LANG13EN.HLP,
  56.         which can be opened in the Windows file manager.
  57.         This help may contain more recent information than the
  58.         printed documentation.

  75. 3.      Installation
  76.  
  77. 3.1     Installation from CD
  78.  
  79.         Under Windows NT 3.51/4.0 or Windows 95 or Windows 3.1x start
  80.         CDSETUP.EXE in the root directory of your WINNERware CD. You
  81.         can double click CDSETUP.EXE in the File Manager or Windows
  82.         Explorer.

  84. 3.2     Installation from floppy disk
  85.  
  86.         The POWERdraft installation set consists of two floppy disks.
  87.         Start SETUP.EXE from the first one. During installation you
  88.         will be requested to insert the second disk.

  90. 3.3     Installation from a separate directory
  91.  
  92.         The POWERdraft directory contains two subdirectories: DISK1 and
  93.         DISK2. Start SETUP.EXE in subdirectory DISK1.

  106.         Changes from version 1.0 to version 1.01:
  107.         - POWERdraft now supports the dual (or multiple) screen modes
  108.           under Windows NT and Windows 3.1x.
  109.         - Rendered images are restored to screen and can be saved
  110.           to disk.
  111.         - The driver was ported to the DEC Alpha platform, is shipped
  112.           as a separate driver.
  113.         - Now plot-Preview also works fine with tilemode turned off.
  114.         - Non-Orthogonal cursors are cleared properly, even if another
  115.           window overlaps.
  116.         - The screen menu area is restored properly.
  117.         - Windows 95 is supported. Use at least AutoCAD R13c4.

  119.         Changes from version 1.01 to version 1.02:
  120.         - POWERdraft has its own toolbar.
  121.         - New Cockpit feature: configurable remote control for easiest
  122.           transparent Pan and Zoom
  123.         - New MultiView feature: Fix Button to freeze the history view
  124.         - New commands: ELSA*, XREDRAW*, CPFIX*, CPADDVIEW
  125.         - Easiest configuration of POWERdraft via command ELSAconfig or
  126.           ELSA toolbar
  127.         - Concave polygons are drawn properly.
  128.         - The tools react on a palette change properly.
  129.         - AutoCAD's special select modes (like Fence or CPolygon) are
  130.           now handled correctly.

  134.         Changes from version 1.02 to version 1.03:
  135.         - Windows NT 4.0 is supported.
  136.         - Under Windows 3.1x you need a newer version of Win32s (see
  137.           note below).

  139.         Changes from version 1.03 to version 2.00:
  140.         - AutoCAD LT for Windows 95 is supported.
  141.         - The edit optimization automatically redraws entities damaged
  142.           by delete operations.
  143.         - POWERdraft supports smart dragging (fast and colored).
  144.         - Fixed problems during AutoCAD's startup with ARX
  145.           applications.
  146.         - Clicking with the left mouse button on the ELSA logo in the
  147.           Cockpit window invokes the ELSA command (opens the ELSA
  148.           toolbar).
  149.         - Now the command ELSA_ON places the ELSA toolbar in the center
  150.           of AutoCAD's drawing area (in contrast to the command ELSA,
  151.           that preserves the old position).

  153.         Changes from version 2.00 to version 2.01:
  154.         - POWERdraft has a new Setup supporting long file names and
  155.           an Uninstall.
  156.         - New feature: draw optimization
  157.         - The edit optimization now also works with SuperView.
  158.         - New MultiView feature: AddView button to store the actual
  159.           view (equivalent to command CPADDVIEW)
  160.         Version 2.01.04:
  161.         - ELSA GLoria-S is supported.
  162.         - AutoCAD's command MVSETUP isn't blocked by MagniView's MVSET
  163.           any more.
  164.         - Genius Power-Snap is clipped properly at drawing borders.
  165.         Version 2.01.05:
  166.         - ELSA GLoria-L/MX is supported.
  167.         Version 2.01.06:
  168.         - ELSA GLoria Synergy is supported.
  169.         Version 2.01.07:
  170.         - Implemented workaround for an AutoCAD bug with grip dragging
  171.           highlighted entities in multiple viewports.
  172.         Version 2.01.08:
  173.         - ELSA GLoria-XL is supported.
  174.         Version 2.01.09:
  175.         - Full screen DOS boxes occasionally crashed the system
  176.           on ELSA GLoria.
  177.         Version 2.01.10:
  178.         - Sometimes a Genius Power Dimension wasn't drawn immediately
  179.           when zoomed in very far.

  183. 6.      Caveats / Known Problems
  184.  
  185.         Windows 3.1x only:
  186.         Under Windows 3.1x you should avoid full screen DOS boxes while
  187.         POWERdraft is running. Windowed DOS boxes are uncritical,
  188.         however.
  189.  
  190.         Windows 3.1x only:
  191.         POWERdraft version 1.03.00 or higher needs Microsoft's WIN32S
  192.         version 1.25.142 or higher. AutoCAD R13c4 is shipped with this
  193.         version of WIN32S; however, AutoCAD R13c0 was shipped with
  194.         version 1.20.123, which won't work with POWERdraft any more.
  195.         Please ensure you have a proper version of WIN32S installed on
  196.         your system before installing POWERdraft (WIN32S.INI in the
  197.         Windows system directory contains the version number).
  198.         You can find Microsoft WIN32S version 1.25.142 on the AutoCAD
  199.         R13c4 CD or on the ELSA WINNERware CD in \ELSAware\WIN32S.

  201.         With an ARX application loaded the ELSA toolbar may disappear
  202.         when a drawing is opened. You can get the toolbar again by
  203.         entering the command ELSA or clicking on the ELSA logo in the
  204.         Cockpit window.
