  5. More information on using the PRO/100+ Client Adapter CD-ROM

  9. How to create a floppy installation disk from this CD-ROM
  10. =========================================================
  11. If you don't have a CD-ROM drive on the target workstation, you 
  12. can still install and configure the PRO/100+ Client adapter 
  13. software. 
  14.  
  15. To create the PRO/100+ Client adapter installation diskette, 
  16. you'll need a blank, formatted, 3.5-inch, high-density diskette.
  17.  
  18. 1. Insert the PRO/100+ Client adapter CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive 
  19.    of a system where you can run DOS. 
  20.  
  21. 2. From DOS, go to the root directory on your CD-ROM drive.
  22.  
  23.    Besides README.BAT, there are three .BAT files in this
  24.    directory:
  25.    
  26.    MAKEMS.BAT  -- Creates an adapter installation diskette for
  27.                   Microsoft* Windows* operating systems
  28.  
  29.    MAKENW.BAT  -- Creates an adapter installation diskette for
  30.                   NetWare* operating systems
  31.  
  32.    MAKEW98.BAT -- Creates an adapter installation diskette for 
  33.                   the Windows 98 operating system using a
  34.                   digitally-signed set of driver files
  35.  
  36. 3. Run the .BAT file that is appropriate for your operating system
  37.    and follow the instructions on the screen. 
  38.  
  39.    You will be prompted to label and insert the blank diskette.
  40.  
  41. 4. Use your newly created diskette to install and configure the 
  42.    PRO/100+ Client adapter software. Insert the diskette and run
  43.    SETUP.EXE. Follow the instructions on the screen.
