This ReadMe file contains important information that are not included in the User's Manual. Also, this file might contain information about the MVR-D2000 that were recently changed or enhanced. Please check this ReadMe before using your MVR-D2000.
Canopus is not responsible for any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use this product. This includes damage to property and to the extent permitted by law, damages for personal injury.
It is illegal for anyone to violate any of the rights provided by the copyright laws to the owner of copyright, except for fair use (mainly private noncommercial use).Also, in certain cases copying is prohibited with no exceptions. In no event shall Canopus be liable for any direct or indirect damages whatever arising out of the use of captured materials.
Please connect your video cables firmly to the MVR-D2000 to capture video correctly. Loose cables may result in errors during capture.
(2) Limitations
1. Please do not use monitor control utilities such as the Canopus Screen Control or Screen Savers while you are using the MVR-D2000 utilities.
2. We have confirmed operation in Intel Pentium II, Pentium III and Celeron PCs. Other CPUs are not supported yet.
3. If you are sharing IRQ with other devices, the other devices must also support IRQ sharing.
4. The supported capture bitrate depends on your system spec(CPU, hard disk performance, etc.)
5. Irregular video signals may result in capture errors.
6. In low bitrates you may not be able to pause the playback video when you get to the last few seconds.
7. When you start playback from a paused frame, the playback will start from the next GOP(Group of Pictures). If the video clip has no GOP, you may not be able to resume playback from pause.
8. When you select "Audio+Video" mode in MPEG station, two files with the same names ( but extensions are different ) will be created.
9. You can register up to 99 video/audio clips for playlist in the MPEG Station.
10. There are some cases that MPEG Station can not show the exact time during capturing or playback.
11. Timeout errors may occur if you search playback files during program playback.
12. You need other sound device supports Windows NT to playback WAVE files, and MPEG Station can not control the volume when playback WAVE files.
13. You can not shut down or restart the computer during capturing or playback.
