  2.                            AOflash Utility Readme
  3.                            =======================

  6.         This utility will try to reprogram your system BIOS by using flash
  7.         memory technology. It will permanently replace your original BIOS
  8.         content after flashing. Please make sure you have wrote down your 
  9.     BIOS settings so that you can reconfigure them after flasing. 
  10.  
  11.         1. Clean Boot -- Bootup the system from DOS prompt without loading 
  12.        any memory manager (HIMEM, EMM386, QEMM386, ...).
  13.         2. Execute "aoflash ********.BIN".
  14.         3. After loading the new BIOS code, the utility will prompt you to 
  15.            save original BIOS code into your HDD or floppy. Please press "Y"
  16.        to store it as "BIOS.OLD".
  17.     4. After the old BIOS has been secussfully saved, press "Y" to 
  18.        replace BIOS. 
  19.         5. DO NOT turn off the power during "FLASHING".
  20.         6. Reboot the system by turn off the power after "FLASHING".
  21.         7. Press "DEL" key to enter BIOS setup during POST.
  22.         8. Reload the "BIOS SETUP DEFAULT" and reconfigure other items
  23.            as previous set.
  24.         9. Save & Exit. Done!

  26.     Note: You may load back original BIOS "BIOS.OLD" by the same 
  27.           procedure.

  29. If you experience any abnormal during or after flashing, please contact your
  30. local distributor for further information.
