- As every program >20 lines has bugs (quoted from Mattias Gustafsson),
- Plotter3D may do fancy things or even crash. It has been tested using all
- kinds of debug tools like enforcer, mungwall, poolwatch, cyberguard, etc.
- and all known hits has been removed.
- If Plotter3D crashes on your system, please first read the following notes,
- maybe you could fix the problem. If it doesn't help, try to disable all kinds
- of patches you have installed on your system. If this also doesn't help,
- please send me an email describing the bug (what happens, when does it occur,
- etc.; don't forget to add your system configuration) or even better, download
- the debug-version from my homepage
- http://www.irz.tu-dresden.de/~ss37/plotter3d.html
- and send me the output from enforcer/mungwall/... .

- · If you use Kick3.1, please check if you have installed an patch for
- MathIEEESingBas.library (resides in ROM). This library is buggy on
- 020/040/060 systems and forces Plotter3D to crash. On a screen with less
- than 256 colors you will never see an window of Plotter3D, on hi/true-color
- screens Plotter3D starts but crashes if you draw an complex preview.
- There are a lot of patches for this library, eq.:
- mathIEEESingBasPatch
- MathPatch
- ...
- Please install one of them.
-
- Note: MCP's mathpatch doesn't work correctly!
-
- Also try to copy an mathieeesingbas.library to your LIBS: drawer. This seems
- to make no sence, because this library resides in ROM, but it has help
- sometimes !?
-
- The best solution is to get math libraries specialized for your CPU,
- eq. FastMath. This fixes the problems and gains much more speed.

-
- · Plotter3D will probably crash on plain A500/A600 because of reading long's
- from odd aligned addresses (isn't allowed on 68000).
- But I could neither find such an computer nor I could imagine how you would
- use Plotter3D there (awful slow, no realtime mode)
-
