  5. --- INSTALLING THE DEMO
  6.  
  7. Depack archives on the two disks into the same directory, which will be
  8. the "demo directory" referred to later on.  Because the names must comply
  9. to ISO-9660 standard (essentially, PC filenames), you must rename the
  10. file "MUTANTTI.LIB" into "mutantti.library" -- and remember to put it all
  11. lower case!

  19.     [swap the disk]

  25. --- RUNNING THE DEMO
  26.  
  27. To run LOGIC, you need the following things:
  28.  
  29.     *    2 megs CHIP is the minimum to run the demo but routines will
  30.         work much fast with fastmem.
  31.  
  32.     *    Run the demo by executing "RUNLOGIC".  The script will make
  33.         sure proper caches are enabled etc..  The script will make
  34.         two assigns;  "LOGIC:" into the demo directory and an "Assign
  35.         ADD" for "LIBS:" also to the demo directory.  (Remember to
  36.         be in the directory when executing the script).

  38.                 1> Execute RUNLOGIC
  39.  
  40.     *   NOTE:  Make sure the VBR is set to _zero_.  Easiest way is to
  41.         use a clean boot (IF your VBR is not normally zero).  Do this
  42.         by booting without startup-sequence.

  45. --- RUNNING LOGIC WITH ONLY 2 MEGS CHIP

  47. Change "LOGIC.EXE" into "LOGICLOW.EXE" from the script (RUNLOGIC).  The
  48. demo will not have any sounds in this version.

  53. This production (and screenshots etc) are freely distributable but may
  54. not be used as part of a commercial product (for example a music video)
  55. without a written permission from the authors.

  60. --- NOTES
  61.  
  62. "mutantti.library" is a groce modification of "assassin.library" which was
  63. shamelessly adapted for this demo, and this demo only.  Therefore, you will
  64. _not_ find any further usage for the library.  Best way is to keep it in
  65. the demo directory and use "Assign LIBS: "" ADD" to make it accessible.

  67. "assassin.library" itself has been developed further and we will probably
  68. release it later on.

  70. The demo was finished in a BIG hurry, due to which it is rather strict
  71. about the requirements.  If you have missed out something, it will most
  72. probably either crash or flash some funny colors in a forever loop.
  73. Running out of memory will also be revenged :).
