INSTALLATION AND STARTUP:
To install the DOS version, run the INSTALL.EXE on the Capitalism CD
and follow the instructions. Then, from DOS, type CAP and return to
run the game.
The first time you run Capitalism, the game will immediately take
you to the instructional game. This is a series of short hands-on
lessons. We recommend that you go through the instructional game
before actually playing your first real game. After your first time
running the game, you will have to select the Instructional Game
button from the main menu screen in order to go through the tutorial.
To play Capitalism, you need the following hardware:
IBM or 100% compatible computer
386DX CPU
4MB RAM
12MB hard disk space
CD-ROM drive
VESA-compatible video driver
256-color SVGA (640x480) monitor

ONLINE MANUALS:
The online manual is found in the MANUAL folder (file name: cap.pdf).
To view the online manual you need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you
do not have this software on your computer, you can install it by
running AR32E30.EXE in the Manual directory on the Capitalism CD
and following the instructions. You must be in Windows to use the
Acrobat Reader.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
VIDEO DRIVERS:
The game runs in 256-color mode. Some video drivers cannot auto-
matically switch from other modes to 256-color mode. If you
experience problems with the graphics, try manually setting your
computer to the 256-color mode in the Display Control Panel. Also,
make sure that you have the latest video drivers for your video
hardware. The drivers can usually be obtained from the video
hardware manufacturer and often right over the internet.
