FPSTimeDemo for Unreal, by Lothar 30 August 1998
------------------------------------------------
FPSTimeDemo is slightly modified version of Mek's TimeDemo 0.2.
It shows last second FPS, last complete cycle FPS and average FPS of all cycles.
The results are more accurate and stable than these measured by Mek's TimeDemo.
You will have to wait for at least one full cycle before it can show you average.
FPSTimeDemo is shorter and simplier version of TimeDemo 0.2 therefore
CPU spends less time to run it and results are a little higher.
Installation
------------
To install, put the FPS.u file in your Unreal\System directory.
Activate it from Unreal console (press ~) by typing:
> SUMMON FPS.TIMEDEMO
After typing:
> KILLALL TIMEDEMO
FPSTimedemo ends.
It will then show you average FPS for the time FPSTimeDemo was run.
After 10 cycles of FlyBy average FPS is almost the same as in previous run.
I think you can use this notation:
FPS(10) = your result
It's average number of frames per second for 10 full cycles of flyby.
On my Pentium 133 with V2 my FPS(10) = 13.63
Compare with your FPS(10) if you can ;-)
Does't matter
-------------
Give it a try if you want. I hope you find this useful.
