  6. Instalation guide

  9. First unpack this program archive in a preferred directory.
  10. Using explorer make shortcut of PartyDJ on your desktop.
  11. Read this file again ;)
  12. That's all.

  14. You can copy PARTYDJ.EXE on a diskette and take it with
  15. you ;-)

  17. You must also have installed WinAmp if you with PartyDJ to
  18. play music. WinAmp is not supplied with PartyDJ.

  21. What is this program about?
  22. ---------------------------

  24. Let's say you have a computer (no joke :) and a lot of .mp3 files.
  25.  
  26. You have a party to make. No one wants to sit in a cold lonely room and
  27. play music. Or maybe there are so many "DJ's" that there's gonna be a
  28. big fight over who's gonna play music?
  29.  
  30. So, why don't you all gather at someones place, sit over computer and
  31. make your lists!
  32.  
  33. Ofcourse you'll have to take your laptop (or homecomputer) to the
  34. party and connect it to the sound equipment. All .mp3 files must
  35. be on it's harddisk or CD-ROM.

  37. Well, we're on a party. You run into the DJ room, load main and
  38. support list and just hit Loop Main in PartyDJ. Music starts 
  39. playing, you lock the dj room and enjoy yourself.

  41. After each song is played it's put in a played list so you'll
  42. know what was on and what wasn't.

  44. Another scenario is that DJ is beside the computer and using 
  45. PartyDJ he has more than a powerful tool for arranging and
  46. playing music! While the main list plays he can alter support
  47. list or even main one! He can fade current song to the next one,
  48. load "hardcore" list in support list and play it at appropriate
  49. times and much more! Try it, you won't be dissapointed!

  51. One more thing, while PartyDJ is looping one of it's lists you 
  52. can play with winamp a song wich is not in PartyDJ, just double
  53. click that .mp3 file. After WinAmp finishes playing that song
  54. PartyDJ will continue playing it's list!

  56. While arranging songs PartyDJ will warn you that song was already
  57. played or was placed in a list. You don't have to worry 
  58. about that.

  60. Moving songs between main and support list is also possible.

  63. What do I need to use PartyDJ?
  64. ------------------------------

  66. You need WinAmp 1.6x and over and PartyDJ.
  67. Windows 95/NT is also needed.
  68. Party to organize or personal mood to fulfill. :)

  70. Ah yes, PartyDJ will fit nicely on 640x480 display,
  71. so if you have a drunken DJ he'll hit the buttons
  72. just fine :-)
