  8. Purpose:
  9.    This software displays the lyrics of a song played by any mp3/cd/wav
  10.    SingIT compatible player in a funny way ;)
  11.    It's compatible with .lrc file format and you can change the look'n'feel
  12.    of SingIT by using one of the many SingSkins availables.
  13.  
  14. Lyrics setup:
  15.   Create a lyrics directory (e.g c:\music\lyrics)
  16.   and select it in the configuration dialog of SingIT
  17.   If the sound file is: C:\Songs\MySong.mp3, then rename your
  18.   lyrics MySong.lrc or MySong.txt and copy it in your Lyrics_Dir
  19.   or in the same directory as your sound file.
  20.   (but i'd like you to use the .lrc extension because of
  21.   possible confusion with other formats)

  23. SingSkins setup:
  24.   A directory called "singskin" must have been created when you've
  25.   installed SingIT but you can move it everywhere... You just have to select
  26.   it in the configuration dialog of SingIT.
  27.   Each SingSkin must be put in their own directory like the "base" one.
  28.   You can modify files in "singskin\base\" to create your own skins.
  29.   To select a SingSkin, just click on the "look" button and select the
  30.   name you want.

  32. Setup:
  33.    1. Extract the singxxx.zip file in a directory, a singskin directory must
  34. have been created in this directory
  35.    2. Execute the SingIT.exe file and configure it by using the "cfg" button
  36.    3. Now you can start your player and enjoy the lyrics ;)

  38. Tips and Restrictions:
  39.   -As default, this software would display a .LRC lyrics file with
  40.    the same filename as the sound file. If some of your lyric
  41.    file got .TXT extensions, you can rename all those files
  42.    by typing under MS-Dos prompt within their directory:
  43.    "ren *.txt *.lrc" (you can keep your .txt files too)
  44.   -If you can't get it working, try it with "c:\1.mp3" and "c:\1.lrc"
  45.    The "c:\1.lrc" MUST include timestamps like "[00:15]example" !!!

  48.   This Software is freeware. But use it at your own risk. I am
  49.   not responsible for any damage that may appear in using this
  50.   program.
