Escity MoneyMaker is a 'spoiler' for Escape Velocity. Escape Velocity is a great ShareWare game for the Mac, if you don't tried it yet, get it right away:-) Escape Velocity has 'Pilot Files' to save information about a situation. Escity MoneyMaker simply changes a tiny chunk of code to give you more credits.
I made the program using ResCompare, a great resource comparisation program. I can encourage everybody to try and Hack their own favorite game. Hacking and Cracking are good starting points for starting with development. It's fun to hack and crack, especially if it finally works:-)
One more tip: always make backup copies before altering files.

I was frustrated in not getting any further at a faster rate in the game,...
I was playing it for 2 days and only had about 400.000 credits and a quiet good ship:-(
By making this hack, I had more fun shooting other ships with my new bought and fully equipped spacecraft:-)

Escity MoneyMaker is ActionWare, I don't like copyright: the starving nations can't even afford medicines that are patented by big pharmaceutic industries! Biological findings in the Thirth World (healing herbs,...) are licened by huge multinationals, only to benefit their ow-so-verry-rich stockholders.
What is ActionWare?
ActionWare is software you may use if and only if, you preform one or more of the following actions within the next 2 months:
• organise or join a rally to support the Thirth World in their independence struggle
• organise or join a rally against the World Bank and the International Monetar Fund (IMF).
• organise or join a rally to "Let Cuba Be Cuba", the people in Cuba choose to have free health care and free education in exchange for exploitation and a little rich group versus a huge mass of poverty.
• support a strike in your neighbourhood for better wages and increased social security. All over the world the workers are told to accept cutting in their wages because of 'the concurrention', the concurrention is saying that too to their workers,... the result is reduced social security all over the world and an increase of the worldwide crisis of overproduction because the people can't buy as much (see Marx).
• express your support for a local Antifascist or Communist group by lending them an helping hand.
• organise or join a rally to stop legal lynching, racism and the religous right.
• spraypaint a poem about how capitalism leads to racism and fascism on the street. Racism divides the working class in their struggle for justice, equality and freedom. Hitler was brought to power by the support of the German industries and big bankers.
• organise, join and fight for your rights and the rights of the working class, for social security and the taxation of the rich, for the rights for black and other minorities! Organise and fight against capitalism and fascism and for socialism and communism!
• spread Escity MoneyMaker (including this file) to at least 7 friends that want to have it.

Why is this called "Escity MoneyMaker 1.0.2"?
The game where this program applies to is called "Escape Velocity". By having a name starting with the same characters, it'll be listed (when in alphabetical order) just after the game. "Escity" are the 3 first and 3 last characters of "Escape Velocity". And "MoneyMaker" simply describes what this game does:-)
The version number 1.0.2 equals the version of "Escape Velocity" that I used. If you have a different version of Escape Velocity this hack might not work correctly.
Can I copy this program and put it on a CD-ROM?
