  15. Who Needs Cuomo?

  17. <p>     All it takes to enter New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation
  18. presidential primary on Feb. 18 is nerve and a $1,000 filing
  19. fee. Among the record 62 candidates who have rushed in where
  20. Mario Cuomo feared to tread:

  22. <p>     Lenora Fulani. Thanks to her money-raising abilities, the
  23. 41-year-old developmental psychologist and leader of the
  24. left-wing New Alliance Party will receive more than $600,000 in
  25. federal matching funds, a sum exceeded only by Bush and Iowa
  26. Senator Tom Harkin.
  27. </p>
  28. <p>     Pat Paulsen. The television comedian, a veteran of several
  29. lighthearted campaigns, will run again in '92, despite having
  30. filed for personal bankruptcy.
  31. </p>
  32. <p>     Lyndon LaRouche. The wild-eyed libertarian, who has also
  33. run for the White House before, sent in his form from the
  34. federal prison in Alexandria, Va., where he is serving a 15-year
  35. sentence for mail fraud.
  36. </p>
  37. <p>     Tom Laughlin. He played the anti-Establishment movie hero
  38. Billy Jack, and now the jowly actor wants to karate-kick his way
  39. into the White House on a platform of nuclear disarmament and
  40. middle-class tax cuts.
  41. </p>
  42. <p>     Harold Stassen. No field would be complete without the
  43. 84-year-old former Minnesota Governor who made his first
  44. presidential bid in 1944.
