  19. a "novelty, but it doesn't bother me. I can't help the color
  20. of my skin." Her debut album Affection has already sold 2
  21. million copies around the world and is racing up U.S. charts.
  22. Influenced by Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight, the British
  23. singer stays true to her musical roots by "doing what I love
  24. to do."
