By Emily Mitchell/Reported by Wendy Cole

A 41-gun salute boomed at the Tower of London last week to
mark the birth of the Duke and Duchess of York's second child.
Only slightly less noisy were the ranks of photographers
gathered behind barricades outside Portland Hospital hoping for
the first pictures of the Duchess with her baby. Smiling and
serene despite all the fuss, Fergie left the hospital for home,
giving the world its first glimpse of her week-old daughter,
who'll bear the imposing name Eugenie Victoria Helena. The new
Yorklet will formally be known as Princess Eugenie (pronounced
Eu-Zhe-Nee), but speculation is that she'll be called Jenny.
