Job Jinx

By Alexander Tresniowski/Reported by Wendy Cole

Call it the Curse of Robin Williams: if he plays you in a
movie, you might lose your job. First it was Dr. Oliver Sacks,
the neurologist portrayed by Williams in Awakenings, who was
laid off after 25 years at the Bronx Psychiatric Center. Now
it's John Campbell, Williams' model for the unorthodox English
teacher in Dead Poets Society, who's out of work. After 28 years
at Detroit Country Day School, Campbell was fired for not
adhering to the school's "academic and professional standards."
