<p> To peel or not to peel, that is the question. The answer
is clearly visible this week on the outdoor stage in New York
City's Central Park, where Brazilian director Caca Rosset's
artfully eroticized production of A Midsummer Night's Dream,
replete with topless wood nymphs and semi-nude fairies, gives
new meaning to the term fleshing out a role. "Nudity is more
natural for Brazilians," admits Rosset. There's another wrinkle:
the classic play will be performed entirely in Portuguese. Even
so, it's expected that Shakespeare buffs will turn out in droves
for Shakespeare in the buff.
