  14. <p>     DIED. Paul Brown, 82, football innovator who founded and
  15. coached two professional teams, the Cleveland Browns and the
  16. Cincinnati Bengals; in Cincinnati. He started the Browns in 1946
  17. as part of the All-American Football Conference, which merged
  18. with the National Football League in 1950. By the time he was
  19. fired as the Browns' coach 13 years later, the team had won
  20. three N.F.L. championships. Brown was the first pro-football
  21. coach to use films of games to analyze player performance.
