<p> DIED. Jim Garrison, 70, judge, district attorney and J.F.K.
conspiracy theorist; of natural causes; in New Orleans.
Garrison was the most relentless proponent of the theory that
President John F. Kennedy was struck down by a conspiracy of
government officials and right-wing extremists. He fell into
disrepute until Oliver Stone produced the film JFK which
accepted Garrison's beliefs as gospel.
